Our mill is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
How do I store the product? How long is the shelf life?
Store your Harvest Moon Mills flour at room temperature or in a cool, dry place. Best stored in an air tight container to maintain freshness. It is recommended to use fresh flour within 2 months (stored at room temperature), and up to 6 months (refrigerated).
What is unbleached and unenriched?
Unbleached flour is flour in its natural form, straight from the mill, free from bleach which is often used to give flour an intense white color. Unenriched flour does not contain the addition of nutrients and vitamins, which are usually striped away in the bleaching process.
Do your products contain nuts?
No, all of our products are produced in a nut-free facility!
What is Red Spring Wheat?
Hard Red Spring Wheat is planted in the spring and harvested in the fall. Hard Red Spring Wheat is known for its high protein content and distinct nutty (sometimes bitter) flavour.
What is Hard White Wheat?
Hard White Wheat, beige in color, produces a sweeter tasting flour with a milder protein content.
What is Soft White Wheat?
Soft White Wheat produces a naturally whiter flour which is sweeter and softer than Hard White Wheat. Shorter in length than most hard grains, this wheat has a lower protein content which makes it a better choice for baked pastries.
Can I pick up my order?
Pick up is currently not available, we offer local delivery within Calgary and Canada-wide shipping.
Do you offer free shipping?
Unfortunately, we do not offer free shipping at this time. However, we are constantly evaluating our shipping process to keep costs as low as possible. For now, we offer $7 flat rate delivery for orders within city limits.
Do you offer shipping outside of Canada?
Eventually we will offer U.S. shipping but at this time we only offer shipping in Canada.
When will I receive my order?
Local deliveries: within 4 business days from the date of order.
Orders outside of Calgary: shipping time is calculated at checkout depending on the shipping method selected.

Do you have any gluten free products?
Currently we do not have any gluten-free products.
Are your products organic?
Currently we do not have any organic products. However, we do not use any type of desiccant to kill our wheat prior to harvest.
